State Department Letter. A letter from the US Department of State, sending department, or agency, addressed to “Embassy of Mozambique, Washington D.C. “, explaining purpose of travel and dates of the trip. Letter must contain the applicant’s name and the passport number.
Itinerary. Copy of round trip tickets or confirmed itinerary.

Passport copy. Please email a clear scan of the photo page and information pages of your valid, signed passport. The passport must have more than 6 months of validity.
Passport-type photograph. (2″ x 2″) in color, front view with white background. No glasses are allowed to be worn in the photo.
Hotel Reservations. Copy of hotel reservations (Applicant’s name must be on Hotel Reservation).
Itinerary. Copy of round trip tickets or confirmed itinerary.
Proof of Financial Means. The statement must clearly show the applicant’s name as the account holder, the balances of the accounts, and the date of the statement.

Invitation Letter. A business invitation letter from the sponsoring company in Mozambique. It should inclue the following:
- Information on the applicant (full name, gender, date of birth, etc.);
- Information on the planned visit (purpose of visit, arrival and departure dates, place(s) to be visited, relations between the applicant and the inviting entity or individual, financial source for expenditures);
- Information on the inviting entity or individual (name, contact telephone number, address, official stamp, signature of the legal representative or the inviting individual);
Proof of Financial Means. The statement must clearly show the applicant’s name as the account holder, the balances of the accounts, and the date of the statement.
