Tourist Visa Requirements
- Original, signed U. S. Passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity beyond stay in Bahrain, with adequate unused visa pages to allow for entry and exit stamps upon arrival and departure from Bahrain. Note* Amendment pages in the back of your passport are NOT to be used for entry and exit stamps or visa issuance.
- Vaccinations – International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever required if arriving from infected area within 5 days
- Itinerary. Copy of round trip tickets or confirmed itinerary.
Business Visa Requirements
- Original, signed U. S. - 1 Recent Passport-type photograph (2″ x 2″) in color, front view with white background.
- Vaccinations – International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever required if arriving from infected area within 5 days
- Business Letter. A business letter from the sending company in the United States. The letter should be printed on the company letterhead stationery, addressed to “Consulate General of Bahrain, Visa Section”, and signed by a senior manager, Vice-President or above. The business letter must adhere to the following guidelines:
- Briefly introduce the applicant and specify employment status/position held in the company by applicant.
- State the nature of the business to be conducted (ie. business meetings, contract negotiations, etc.) and the names and addresses of companies to be contacted in Bahrain.
- Specify the Type and desired Validity of the visa (ie. a one year multiple entry business visa).
- Sample Company Letter of Guarantee
- Itinerary. Copy of round trip tickets or confirmed itinerary.
Tourist E-Visa Requirements
- Passport copy. Passport (signed, valid up to end of Brazil trip, 2 visa pages free).
- Passport-type photograph. Passport-style photo (2” x 2”, white background).
- Itinerary. Travel Document – Confirmation of flight reservation (showing entrance into and exit from Bahrain).
- Hotel Reservation. Copy of hotel booking in Kingdom of Bahrain. Alternately, in case you are staying with a relative/friend, please provide a copy of their ID reader’s print out.
- Completed Questionnaire (document can be found below).
Business E-Visa Requirements
- Passport copy. Passport (signed, valid up to end of Brazil trip, 2 visa pages free).
- Passport-type photograph. Passport-style photo (2” x 2”, white background).
- Itinerary. Travel Document – Confirmation of flight reservation (showing entrance into and exit from Bahrain).
- Hotel Reservation. Copy of hotel booking in Kingdom of Bahrain. Alternately, in case you are staying with a relative/friend, please provide a copy of their ID reader’s print out.
- Invitation Letter. Letter of invitation (from the company in Bahrain).
